Mind Slavery

Following your heart is indeed hard. Though it is hard I know nothing else to follow, even if I had another choice I would never abandon my heart for it has been true to me all my life. Living a passionless life is not living at all. We created this complex system of the world where individuals have to specialize to live in it. Specializing doesn’t mean you are special but that is what we have been told and we believe in it. We see the free spirited as fools as they do not follow the rules and have little care for them. This society has been put in a box of wishful thinking, thinking you might be thus chasing what was never there in the first place. Religion, the media and money are the worst forms of slavery because they make you think you are free when you are indeed in a box, a box that you have found yourself to be comfortable in. It is all psychological and that is why I say question it all. The TV is bombarded with useless TV shows and making our kids even dumber. If you don’t believe me, Google a case study about SpongeBob SquarePants, it was found that kids that were watching that show were actually getting dumber because the show had little useful content. What are we feeding out kids? What are you feeding yourself? Read a book!
